Check in time limits

Airlinair Flights
The check in counter opens one hour before the scheduled departure time. Passengers are invited to arrive at least one hour before the scheduled departure time.
Check in is closed 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time and 30 minutes before for special needs passengers (unaccompanied minors, reduced mobility passengers....).
Persons arriving after check in closing will not be permitted to board the plane.

Other airlines:
Check with the airline concerned.

Bagage

Hold baggage:
Airlinair flights
All passengers, excepting children under the age of two, have an allowance of 20kg of hold baggage in economy class and 30kg in first class.
Certain special conditions may apply: check with the airline.
All hold baggage must be labelled with your name and address.
Other airlines:
Check with the airline concerned.

Hand baggage:
Airlinair flights
Only one piece of luggage and an accessory item (a bag, handbag or portable computer up to 15cm) are accepted in the cabin.
Hand luggage must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20cm or the sum of these three dimensions must not exceed 115cm, and items may not weigh more than 5Kg.

Objects prohibited in hold and cabin baggage:

EnregistrementsThe following items are prohibited on aircraft: items which are explosive or inflammable (lighters, matches), corrosive (washing powder, bleach...), oxidant, irritant, toxic, radioactive or magnetic (compass), chlorine, paint, compressed gas (bottles of gas, heaters...), aerosols of a volume greater than 500ml and objects not authorised by authorities in France and the destination country.

Hold transport for hunting rifles, antique arms or sports weapons may be authorised under certain conditions. Please check with the airline.


Objects prohibited in hand luggage

Blunt objects
The list notably includes the following objects: solid puzzles, sports equipment such as baseball or cricket bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks, martial arts instruments, any sticks which may be used as weapons. Also, work tools such as a mallet, hammer, chisel, screwdriver, etc.

Firearms
All firearms, whether defensive, sporting, professional, hunting, for show, antiques or collectors items, even when not subject to firearms authorisation requirements. These also include items which may be taken for firearms: starter’s gun, flare gun, stun gun, rubber bullet defence gun. Parts for such items and their ammunition are also prohibited.
Blades
This covers any sharp or pointed objects which may present a danger to public security, such as a bayonet, sabre, dagger, flick knife, fixed blade knife over 6cm in length, axe, bush knife, cutter, ice pick, razor with handle, scalpel, sword cane, metal tipped can, ski stick, any archery material, crossbow, slingshot, etc… and any item considered as a 6th category arm.

Dangerous substances and materials
Any materials causing explosion or blasts (firecrackers, fireworks, detonators...), inflammable materials (lighters, petrol, paints... ), dangerous chemical products, gasses, self defence items projecting irritant, stinging or tear gases.

Liquids
Considered as liquids:
- Gels
- Pastes
- Liquid/solid blends
- Contents of recipients under pressure
(e.g.: toothpaste, hair gel, drinks, soups, syrups, perfumes, shaving foam, aerosols and any similar items).
Liquids contained in recipients with a maximum capacity of 100ml or equivalent and placed in a transparent plastic closable plastic bag with a capacity of not greater than one litre, are authorised.
This bag must be presented, independently of hand luggage, during the pre-boarding security check.
For information on any exceptions, please check with the airline.

Syringes are only authorised in the cabin for medical purposes. Please inform the airline.

Instructions:
Place any objects which may be considered as an arm in your hold baggage.
Never accept to carry or pack items belonging to anyone else.
Never leave your bags unattended.

Transfers

If your flight is not direct, remember to take transfer times into account. Ensure that there is sufficient time between flights to retrieve your baggage and re-register.

Unaccompanied minors

From the age of 4 to 11 inclusive, children may travel alone as ‘UM’ (Unaccompanied minor) and benefit from special assistance.
On all flights Unaccompanied Minors must travel with an identity card or a passport, depending on the destinations.
For European and International flights, they must also carry parental or a guardian’s authorisation to leave the French territory.
Unaccompanied Minors must be presented at the airport at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled flight departure time, UM check in is closed 30 minutes prior to departure.
An information form relative to the trip must be completed by the person accompanying the child to the airport and handed to the check in personnel.
The child will be taken in charge by the airline’s personnel from boarding, in-flight and through to arrival where he/she will be brought to the person designated on the information file further to the said person producing a valid piece of identity.
For children over the age of 11, please check with the airline.
 
Reduced mobility

Car parking: spaces reserved for persons of reduced mobility are located next to the departure and arrivals lounges, for easy access.
Access to the airport: persons of reduced mobility may be dropped off by car in front of the airport halls.
Airport: the airport has toilets for the disabled.
All the airport’s services are accessible in a wheelchair.
Passengers:
Check in at least 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time.
The check in time limit is 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.
The airport has wheelchairs available, boarding and disembarkation assistance is possible upon request from our check in personnel, please state special requirements upon ticket reservation.
Passengers with their own wheelchairs: it is important to state the type and specifications (electric, manual, weight…) of the chair when making your reservation.

Cancelling a trip

In the event of cancellation, please inform your airline. This will enable another passenger to make use of your place.

Baggage queries

If, upon arrival of your flight, a piece of baggage is missing or damaged, please contact the Baggage Complaints service. Keep your ticket stub and the baggage label from check-in.

Excédent de bagages

Airlinair flights: 2€ per kilo above the authorised limit.
Other airlines: the rate is determined by each airline and in relation to the destination. Please check with the airline. 

Animals

In the cabin: up to 5kg in a bag, subject to prior authorisation from the airline.
Hold: over 5 kg in a special cage (sold by certain transport specialists, pet shops, veterinary clinics...), subject to prior reservation and authorisation from the airline.
Tariffs:
Airlinair:
animal in the cabin: 12 Euros per flight – animal in the hold: 30 Euros per flight.
Other airlines: please check with the airline.

It is obligatory to carry a piece of identity with a photograph.

International flights
To enter another country, passengers must carry an identity card or a passport, depending on the requirements of the destination country.
Some countries require a visa.

In order to know exactly which documents are required per destination, please contact your airline, the Air and Frontier Police services: +33 (0)4 99 57 20 57, a police station, the Prefecture, the Customs or the Embassy or Consulate of the country in question.
In order to know exactly which vaccination or health care requirements are required or recommended per destination, please contact your doctor, the airline or the Departmental Directorate for Health and Social Affairs (DDASS).

Animals are also subject to certain obligations: remember to obtain an anti-rabies vaccination. Also do not forget to carry your animal’s health record.
