Before coming to the airport and in order to prepare your journey as well as possible, remember to consult the travel information.
Last time for check-in
Ryanair and Flybe flights
The check-in desk opens 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. Passengers are invited to arrive at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time.
Check-in closes 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Persons arriving after the check-in desk has closed will not be permitted to board. Ryanair passenger : please note that Ryanair passengers must check-in online up to 4 hours before departure. All passengers should come to the airport with their printed boarding pass.

The baggage must not exceed 55 x 40 x 20 cm, or 115 cm for the sum of all three dimensions, and the whole must not weigh more than 10 kg. For more information see the airline terms and conditions.

Objects prohibited in checked and cabin baggage :
The following are prohibited for carriage by air: explosives, flammable items (lighters, matches), corrosive liquids (detergents, bleach, etc.), oxidizers, irritants, poisons, radio-active material, magnets (compass), chlorine, paint, compressed gas (gas bottles, heaters), aerosols larger than 500 ml and objects not authorised for transport by Government services and the States.
Transport in checked baggage of a shotgun, a collector’s or a recreational gun is authorised under certain conditions. For information, contact the company concerned.
Objects prohibited in the cabin
Blunt instruments
The list includes, in particular, the following objects: clubs, sporting equipment such as baseball bats, cricket bats, golf clubs, hockey sticks, martial arts equipment and any baton capable of being used as a bludgeon. Also included are blunt tradesman’s tools such as sledgehammers, hammer, chisels, screwdrivers, etc.
Firearms
These may be arms used for attack or defence, recreational shooting, fairgrounds or hunting, or ornamental, historic or collectors’ items, even those which do not require a permit. They also include objects which could be considered as arms: starting-pistols, signal flare pistols, animal humane killers, or self-defence guns with rubber bullets. Spare parts and ammunition for these arms are also prohibited.
Steel weapons
This concerns sharp-edged or pointed objects which may be a danger to public safety, such as bayonets, sabres, swords, daggers, flick-knives, knives with a fixed blade of more than 6 cm, axes, machetes, cleavers, ice picks, open razors, scalpels, sword-canes, canes tipped with lead or iron, ski poles, all archery or crossbow equipment, catapults, etc. and all objects classed as 6th category arms.
Dangerous substances and materials
These may be summed up as detonating or explosive substances (bangers, fireworks, detonators, etc.), flammable substances (lighters, petrol, paint), dangerous chemical products, gas and self-defence equipment spraying irritant, nettle or tear gas.
Liquids
The following are considered as liquids :
- Gels
- Pasty substances
- Liquid/solid mixtures
- The content of pressurised containers
(for example : toothpaste, hair gel, drinks, syrups, perfumes, shaving cream, aerosols and any article of a similar consistency)
Liquids in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml or equivalent and carried in a transparent plastic bag with a closure and not exceeding 1 litre in capacity are permitted.
This plastic bag must be presented separately from cabin baggage when passing the security screens.

Syringes are not permitted in the cabin except by medical clearance : remember to notify the airline company.
Instructions and reminders :
Put any object which might be considered as a weapon in your checked baggage.
Never accept parcels or baggage from a third party.
Never leave your baggage unsupervised.
Connections
If the flight that you are taking to your final destination is not direct, take connection times into account. You must ensure that you have enough time between the flights to reclaim your baggage and have it checked in again.
Persons with reduced mobility
Car parking : There are parking spaces reserved for persons with reduced mobility next to the terminal for ease of access to the terminal.
Access to the terminal : persons with reduced mobility can be dropped off by car in front of the terminal.
Terminal : The airport has toilets for the disabled.
All airport services are accessible for wheelchairs.
Passengers : The airport has wheelchairs and assistance is available for embarkation and disembarkation upon request made to our check-in staff and at the time of booking.
For those passengers who have their own wheelchair, it is important to state this at the time of booking and to state the type and details of the chair (electric, manual, weight, etc.)

If your journey must be cancelled or deferred, advise the airline company concerned. This will allow another passenger to benefit from your place.
Baggage complaints
If, when your flight arrives, your baggage is missing or has been damaged, please notify our Baggage Complaints service. Please keep the receipt portion of your ticket and your baggage receipt given at check-in.
Excess baggage

Animals are not accepted on all airlines : contact the airline for information.

Passports and Visas
National flights
You must without fail carry a valid passport or identity card to travel.
International flights
To cross frontiers, you must have an identity card or a passport, depending on the country. Some countries require a visa.
To find out exactly which documents are necessary for which destination, contact the air company or the Police de l'Air et des Frontières (Air and Frontier Police) on 04 99 57 20 57, in a police station, Préfecture, Customs passenger service or at the Embassy or Consulate of the country concerned.
Similarly, to find out about health regulations, contact your doctor, the Airline or the Direction Départementale aux Affaires Sanitaires et Sociales (County Department for Health and Social Affairs).
There are also regulations concerning animals: remember the anti-rabies vaccination. Remember also to take your animal’s health card.
